Who we are

The Automator plugins for Adobe Photoshop — Mockup Automator, Split 3 Automator, Mirrored Edge Automator, Auto Upscaler and Watermark Automator, and any others released on this site — are operated from Australia by [INSERT LEGAL TRADING NAME]. Where this policy says "we" or "us", it means that operator. This policy covers every plugin in the range. You can reach us at [email protected].

What the plugins send

At present, nothing. Paid subscriptions are not yet available, so the plugins make no network requests at all. Your ten free exports per plugin are counted on your own machine and that count never leaves it.

When subscriptions go live, one thing will be transmitted:

• Your licence key, sent to Blink so they can confirm it is valid and active, and record which machines it is used on.

That will be the complete list, and the free tier will continue to send nothing.

What the plugins do not send

This is the part that matters most for anyone working with client or unreleased artwork. The plugins do not upload, copy, transmit or store:

• Your artwork files, in whole or in part
• Your PSD mockup templates
• The mockups, triptych panels, wrapped canvases, enlargements, watermarked photos or any other files the plugins generate
• Any logo file you point Watermark Automator at
• File names, folder paths or directory listings
• The contents of any other document you have open in Photoshop

All image processing happens locally inside Photoshop on your machine. We never see your work.

What the website collects

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or third party cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server request logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability purposes.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of service providers, and only for the purposes described here.

Blink

Blink will process payments, manage subscriptions, and issue and validate licence keys once paid plans go live. Nothing is sent to them today. They act as the merchant of record, which means they are the seller for the transaction and handle the applicable sales tax or VAT. When you subscribe, you provide your payment and billing details directly to Blink. We never see or store your card details. The plugin will talk to Blink directly when it checks a licence key, with no server of ours in between.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts this website. No licence or customer data is stored there.

Adobe

If you install a plugin through the Adobe Creative Cloud marketplace, Adobe handles that distribution under their own privacy policy. We do not receive your Adobe account details from them.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

We hold no records at all for free tier users, because nothing is collected from them, and at present that is everyone. Subscription records are kept for as long as your subscription is active and afterwards for the period we are required to retain business and tax records. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to those retention obligations.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what data we hold about you
• Correct anything that is wrong
• Delete your data
• Send you a copy of it

Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Australia that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Children

These are professional tools and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will email active subscribers.
